Roadmap 5/3/2022


Thought I’d update on where I plan to take this little project post gamejam! There are three major phases I’m using for bucketing work/plans.

Immediate

Currently working on

  • Add sound! Simple music and SFX
  • Usability and playability tweaks:
    • Enemy health adjustments
    • Bullet size modifications
    • Recharging shields
    • Collision cleanups

Near-term

Planning nearly finished, or entirely finished

  • Resolution expansion
  • Better enemy AI/patterns and spawning logic
  • Discrete levels
  • Bosses
  • New weapons, equipment, roguelike elements

Far-term

Planning phase, ideation, etc

  • Multiplayer!
    • Free-for-all
    • Team based (global teams, not squads)
  • Better controller support
  • Unlockables, progression
  • Events, new levels
